About

Hi, thanks for stopping by! My name is Lucile Danilov, I’m a Freelance Translator (English to French) and Localization Consultant.

I’ve been working in the games industry since 2007, and created Loc’d and Loaded (abbreviated LD, which also happens to be my initials!) in 2019 to share my ramblings about Game Localization, as well as my personal thoughts on technical topics, interviews, resources, and more.

Outside of work, my biggest passion is video games (shocking, I know – check out my 100% completion list here), but I also love playing piano, learning languages and tinkering with tech.

If you’re looking to contact me, please use the Contact form below!

Projects

Here are some of the projects I got to contribute on over the years:

Universe For Sale – Translation (~50.000 words)
SoS: A Wonderful Life – Translation (~50.000 words)
Rune Factory 5 – Translation (~50.000 words)
Aether Gazer – Translation/Editing (~800.000 words)
Cookie Run: Kingdom – Localization Coordination
GTFO – Translation (~30.000 words)
WARSAW RISING – Editing (~50.000 words)
KonoSuba: Fantastic Days – Translation (~150.000 words)
Chrono Trigger DS – French LQA

This is just a fraction of my portfolio – I have over a hundred titles under perpetual NDA in which I am not credited, which is also why you’ll often hear me talk about the #TranslatorsInTheCredits movement 🙂
