Hello! If you’re reading this page, it probably means we’ve been introduced to a potential collaboration. Thanks for considering using my services!
I often receive the same questions from recruiters and prospective partners, so I’ve decided to create this FAQ to speed up the process and save us both some time 🙂 Of course, if anything isn’t covered on this page, I remain at your disposal. Have a wonderful day!
What are your language pairs?
I translate exclusively from English (US/GB) to French (France).
While I have some experience translating into English, I strongly recommend asking a professional translator whose native language is English. I can offer recommendations upon request.
What kind of services do you offer?
I offer the following services: Translation (EN>FR), editing/proofreading, subtitling, and consulting. As part of my consulting services, I can help you build a vendor team, establish an optimized localization workflow, and more.
What are your specializations?
My two primary fields of specialization are video games and webtoons/comics. I’ve also dabbled in IT (software & hardware), as well as tourism, cooking, and adult entertainment.
How many words (TEP) can you process per day on average?
This is a tricky question as this is highly dependent on the type of text you need to translate, deadline(s), and my current workload with existing clients. My daily capacity is about 4.000 words for translation and 7.000 words for editing/proofreading. However, I already have long-term partnerships established with major clients around the world, so new clients can expect roughly 30% of my availability during the first couple of weeks, ramping up if both parties are happy with the agreement.
What kind of CAT Tools do you use?
I am experienced with MemoQ, Phrase (Memsource), and Trados Studio. I strongly prefer MemoQ, as it is the tool I’m most proficient with, and it is the games industry standard.
What are your rates?
My rates are as follows:
- Translation: 0.09 EUR/w
- Editing: 0.04 EUR/w
- Hourly: 75 EUR per hour (negotiable depending on the type of task)
Please note that I do not offer MTPE services.

Which titles have you worked on, and how many words?
I am unable to provide specifics due to NDAs covering the vast majority of my projects, but you can learn more on my About page:
Of course, this is just a small sample – Over my last 17 years in the industry, I had the opportunity to work on hundreds of different titles, from the smallest indies to the biggest AAA blockbusters 🙂 feel free to ask if you need any more details and I’ll be happy to answer as long as it doesn’t break NDAs.
Which time zone are you located in?
I am located in Berlin, Germany. My office hours are a bit all over the place, but I am a night owl, so you can probably catch me somewhere between 11:00 and 20:00 (CET/CEST). I usually reply to emails within 2 hours during business hours.
Do you collaborate with other translators/language pairs?
Of course! Thanks to my extensive network, I have been able to establish partnerships with many other freelancers working with E>FIGS pairs and more. For EN>FR in particular, I usually work with two other trusted partners who have as much experience as I do and who can cover for me whether you need additional proofreading, more hands on deck, etc.
